This project involved a comprehensive refurbishment spanning four levels, tailored to meet the evolving needs of a dynamic workspace. We approached this project with a commitment to excellence, ensuring safety, budget adherence, and timely completion while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Our approach was deeply rooted in collaboration, working closely with the Project Control Group to ensure that every aspect of the project aligned with Rio Tinto’s vision and requirements.

  • New personal lockers across all four floors, providing secure and convenient storage solutions.

  • New phone booths were installed on each floor, designed to offer privacy and sound insulation in a modern office setting.

  • Addition of sophisticated joinery and finishes, enhancing the overall aesthetic and functionality of the work environment.

West to West Indigenous delivered the fitout for the Gumala Aboriginal Corporation located at Level 1, 165 Adelaide Terrace in East Perth.

West to West Indigenous were engaged to complete Maintenance works on the Western Power Building, Perth CBD.     

Our Maintenance team was required to complete works in a live office environment, scheduling around meetings and events held by the client, with 24/7 access maintained to the building. 

Key features:

  • Removal of non-compliant aluminium cladding to two entries, internal courtyard and 12-storey flue enclosure

  • Installation of compliant, non-combustible aluminium cladding

  • Access via mobile scaffolding, scissor lifts, traditional scaffolding, swing stage and rope access.

WATER CORPORATION ATRIUM WORKS

West to West Indigenous provided ongoing remediation and refurbishment works with the Water Corporation at their Leederville head office.

Key features:

  • Builders works providing investigation access to the site.

  • Engineering scaffolding placement and access around the operational escalator and live offices providing safe work conditions for the West to West Indigenous team and Water Corp team members.

Working Environment: Live environment with active tenants. West to West Indigenous was responsible for the stakeholder management and engagement. Note: West to West Indigenous liaised throughout the project with building and tenant representatives to ensure the project was completed within the time constraints of the Christmas holiday period.
